On Tuesday 4th March, FADM (government Frelimo Forces) launched an attack on Dimba valley below us. They did it from very close proximity to campus which was rather unsettling. Fighting continued for two days, then moved further away.
When those around you are running wild with fear in all directions, keep your focus on the goal ahead.
Continue to run your race. You have a cloud of witnesses cheering you on.
Heb 12:1 “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us…”
Plus you are a witness to many who are watching you. People are testifying that if we at Afrika wa Yesu had run away or left Inhaminga, the place would be empty. This has happened at other locations where attacks have taken place.
I have a whole lot more to say ….OHHH SO MUCH MORE! but right now we are running the race with so much intensity and on the road again tomorrow, time has run away from me. Suffice to say that the rapid response of prayer from campus and those of you out there who were praying for us has brought a powerful result of supernatural covering and protection.
The gun has not yet been moved off the flag, instead heavy loads of guns moved in. We say ‘not yet’, the day shall surely come.
We are not without hope. Please continue to pray for Mozambique, we are on a rough road particularly in the Central Provinces.
Running the race………………………….’til Jesus comes again!
