When there is no more track, take up your bicycle and walk.
Park the bicycles at someone’s new home (note the grass shelter at the back) People fled their homes because of the shooting, they live in the bush. Some had their homes burned and have no pots, no blankets, nothing at all, just a grass cover that does not keep out the rain.
Visiting from shelter to shelter, taking hope and encouragement to a people in great distress.
We went further afield, and saw things that we will not speak of now. Yet there is always hope…..
That was quite a climb, sweaty glamour shot on deck chair.
Water is their biggest need. People having to go down the mountain and then carry it up again. We are so happy to share campus water with those in need.
They still have to carry it home, though the distance is not so far. Even so, 20 liters of water on the head is no easy task.
