RACING through October and November

From a Rocky Mountain High… to Mozambique via Cape Town and Zimbabwe!

SnowBlend

Colder than cold!

03

To Cape Town… love the sea, but this is not the warm Indian Ocean!

04

The beautiful fruit farms and wine lands of Worcester, Franshoek and Stellenbosh.

05

Captain Hein took us on a flight in our own little bluebird, Cessna 206…

06

… soon to fly back to it’s nest in Mozambique!

07

Can you believe he found Jacaranda flowers for me in the Cape?!

08

Eating apricots faster than picking them!

09

You know you are back in Moz when the tea stop

is under a tree on the side of the road.

10

Back in our Inhaminga Office – MUCH to catch up on!

11

Entrance to the forest at the back of our house. NOW I know I am home!

TreeBlend

Love the monkey ropes. We have Vervet (not nice) monkeys and Simangos (love them).

15

Team Camp Fire… songs, worship, stories, jokes, loads of fun and Braai Place (BBQ).

16

Our forest guard, Beira. He was bitten by a snake here, his arm swelled. We prayed, and he was fine!

17

Bush buck, red duiker, the tiny tsuni buck, (perna fina, meaning ‘dainty feet) live here. Also porcupine, wild cat and LOTS of snakes such Puff Adder, Mozambique Spitting Cobra, Boomslang, Python and the dreaded Black Mamba which I have seen only once, all 3 metres of it.

18

Our hidden, private campfire.

19

Termite home commonly known as an ant hill. Who lives in that hole… the black mamba? Not looking in there!

FlowerBlend

Love the wild flowers blooming right now.

25

To the kitchen door… to make a cup of tea.

26

First brush off the flies with the all natural fly swat… NO FLIES ON ME!
